Ram is the founder and essence of Mycorena. He has a PhD in industrial biotechnology with expertise in filamentous fungi and has worked for over 10 years in the field of microbial biotech. Ram leads the mission of growing Mycorena into a global innovation-driven brand for fungi products.

Ebba manages our business activities, developing new opportunities and coordinating the team to reach the company’s goals. She is also a board member of the Female Network Association. Her background is in Business Administration with a focus in International Business Relations and Corporate Sustainability.

Anton leads our finance and IP strategy. Previously, he worked with consulting for high-growth companies and management of IP-related activities in both startups and global large-cap firms. His knowledge ranges widely from finance and business analysis to strategy development and sales.

Frida is an ardent researcher who has previously worked on topics related to cleantech, sustainability and fungi-biotechnology at the RISE Research Institutes of Sweden (Agrifood and Bioscience) and Borås Energi och Miljö AB. Her studies at Chalmers University of Technology have focused on food, health and sustainability.

Paulo combines technical expertise with marketing skills in to ensure our products success, from concept to market. He has a PhD in Bioengineering from Chalmers University of Technology and was previously also a co-founder of another biotech startup (Biopetrolia AB).

Tamara is completing her M.Sc. in Entrepreneurship and Business Design at Chalmers University of Technology. She had her own B2C food business and has since also worked in finance and marketing roles across multiple industries.

Joakim is a process engineer especialized in process design and food technology. After graduating from his MSc at Chalmers University of Technology, he has worked several years within the food and pharmaceutical industry.

Lars is the designer for our pilot-scale facilities. He has been working with bioreactor systems since 1967 in companies such as Biotec AB, Electrolux Fermentation and Chemoferm AB. He is the founder of Belach Bioteknik AB, a company specialized in industrial-scale bioreactors.

Tore Sveälv represents GU Ventures as investment manager and business developer. Tore has accumulated three decades' experience from leadership and management roles within aquaculture, food, and health. A few of these include being CEO of a food concept center and CEO of an aquaculture research organization.

Prof. Olsson is the Head of Division of Industrial Biotechnology at Chalmers University of Technology. She a distinguished member of the Wallenberg Wood Science Center and the Swedish Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences. Prof. Olsson has over 30 years and more than 200 research publications in the field of industrial biotech.

David has built up and worked as CEO for multiple companies in different areas such as smart electronics, software and cleantech. Today he is engaged in a number of companies as board member and advisor and also as investor in young companies and start-ups.

Per Stenström is from Bertegruppen, that consists of Berte Qvarn AB and SIA Glass AB. Berte Qvarn is the oldest now active family business in Sweden, and Per is the thirteenth generation running the mill. He is also the former chairman of Livsmedelsföretagen and has a long experience from the Food Industry and B2B sales.
